Column
Pat Moran
(now deceased):
This
is
the
first
post-50th
Reunion
column.
Upon
reflection,
we
all
did a
great
job -
those
who
organized
and
those
who
attended!
The
comments
I
heard
most
often
were,
"I
didn't
have
enough
time
to
talk
to Mr
/ Mrs
'X',
I
didn't
talk
to
enough
returnees,"
and
"Boy,
I
don't
bounce
back
like
I
used
to
after
a
three-day
party!"
The
complete
roster
of
returnees
follows.
If I
left
anyone
out,
or
misspelled
a
name,
please
forgive
me;
or
better
yet,
write
to
me,
and I
will
include
your
message
in
the
next
column:

Randy Zehner
(deceased)
e-mailed
that
the
official
(record)
attendance
was
118
(of
411
classmates).
The
class
copped
awards
for
largest
numbers
registered
and
largest
percentage
registered
(28.5
percent).
Over
$9.5
million
was
presented
to
the
university
- a
marvelous
accomplishment.
Randy
also
asked
that
I add
this
note:
"Our
class
Website,
maintained
by
Bill
Erdman,
has a
link
dedicated
to
our
50th
Reunion,
which
contains
134
pictures,
many
of
which
are
quite
good..
Go
to:
click
on
Reunion
Pictures
and
note
five
blank
boxes
which
represent
five
rolls
of
film.
Click
on
the
top
left
box
to
begin
the
viewing
process."
Many
thanks
to
Bill
Erdman
and
Randy Zehner
(deceased)
for
making
this
possible.
Randy
indicated
that
trying
to
identify
individuals,
many
of
whom
we
haven't
seen
in 50
years,
carries
the
risk
of
misidentifying
some
or
not
recognizing
others.
If
one
question
mark
follows
your
name,
only
one
of
our
naming
committee
recognized
you.
Two
question
marks
indicate
that
you
weren't
recognized
by
our
group
of
four
naming
judges.
Our
sincere
apologies
- so
many
people,
so
little
time
to
get
to
know
you
better.
If
you
can
identify
people
with
question
marks,
please
contact
Randy.
Randy
concluded
by
saying
that
he
was
looking
forward
to
seeing
his
children
and
grandchildren
in
Indiana
this
summer
(2002),
on
his
way
to
his
annual
fishing
"retreat"
in
Montana.
Hope
you
enjoyed
it
Randy.
You
have
done
a
great
job!
Frank Sgambelluri
(deceased)
sent
in a
great
letter
congratulating
the
class
for a
great
50th
recounting
a
trip
with
Barbara
to
Alaska,
and
anticipating
a
proposed
Lehigh-sponsored
trip
to
Ennis,
Ireland,
and a
getaway
to
Maine
in
October.
These
are
busy
people!
That's
a
wrap
for
this
column.
Let
me
hear
from
you
about
anything.
I
love
hearing
from
the
class.
