NOTES:  This Asbury Lenten Devotionals Site is your guide through the observance of Lent.  The Devotionals end the Saturday after Easter Sunday, April 26.  The daily devotional includes a scripture, a message and a prayer that will help you prepare your heart for Holy Week, for Easter and beyond.

Easter Saturday features a family devotional, including a message related activity.

Sundays, except Easter, are not included in the Lenten Devotionals as, traditionally Sundays in Lent were designated as minor Holy Days, and were not considered to be part of Lent.  The forty days of Lent end on Easter Saturday, also known as Holy Saturday. 

The period from Easter Sunday to Whitsunday (Pentecost) is known as Eastertide.

This is a private website that is a collection of 2025 Lenten devotionals published by Asbury United Methodist Church. 

In a 2018 church meeting, the design and hosting of the 2018 Advent devotions website was accepted on a no cost basis to the church.  Since then, yearly Advent and Lent devotionals plus "Connection" and related websites have been made available in the same spirit.

  The church is free to reference this website at their discretion.  The WebMaster is sensitive to the wishes of the church and will continue to host them in a proper and timely manner.
