In our class news, Bob Hoyt emails that Fred Gartside passed in January.  Fred and I were classmates at Columbia High School in Maplewood, N.J.

Robert Potts has passed.  He was an avid sportsman (golf, bowling, fishing, camping and boating).  Forty years with DuPont . Married to Joanne for 53 years.  His father, Ralph, was Lehigh '22 and his son, Michael, is Lehigh '88.  A Lehigh family for sure!

An email from Ed Leidheiser's widow, Mary Lou, reports she enjoys the column and stays in touch with Ralph Fortney.  Mary Lou attended her 65th Reunion at Hood College, Frederick, Md., and wonders if Lehigh 65th Reunion returnee David Graaf (deceased)ever lived in Hendersonville, N.C., and attended Grace Lutheran Church there?  David (deceased)? Is that you?  You are welcome to answer Mary Lou in this column.

Dick Schmidt (deceased) is a wonderful communicator and posts a great 2017-18 update.  Dick and Carolyn have a combined family of 10 kids, 20 grandkids and 13 great-grandkids.  Now you two of (from memory, no cheating) ye recite each one of their names - well done!  These 43 kinder are scattered from Maine to Tennessee to Montana!
