quality!" Bob Reisman joined 12 other '52 Classmates at our 65th

From 50th Reunion Book, 2002 -
After both commissioning and graduation, I served in the USAF for 2
years, first briefly at Lackland AFB and then at Castle AFB (SAC).
During this time, I met classmates
Disbrow
(deceased),
Scarr
(deceased)
and
Toven
(deceased), to name those I readily remember.
Then off to Columbia University School of Business for an MS, followed
by 13 years at Price Waterhouse (PW). During this period, I became
a CPA and married Toby. We have a son, Laurence (LU
'82) and a daughter, Shari. I left PW to become the CFO of
Rheingold Breweries (RB), a client, and a fun job because of its then
association with the METS and JETS. While at RB, I was elected the
Mayor of Irvington, NY, serving 3 terms.
RB was acquired in an "unfriendly" takeover and yours truly was
"fired". Then on to American Cyanamid Co. (ACY) from which I
retired in January 1994 as Controller. During my ACY career, I was
"recalled" to Mayoral political life and was elected twice more, serving
until I relocated to Vero Beach, FL in April 1994. Classmates
Tom Balch,
Dave Gildersleeve
and
Harry Miller
(deceased)
are also in Vero Beach.
May 30th, 2001 - Frequently see our classmate
Harry Miller
(deceased) since he relocated to Vero Beach, Florida.
He is a member of the Moorings Club of which I am president and appears
to be a fine golfer. By the way while I spent over 20 years in
Wayne NJ, I never was at Picatinny Arsenal. Sorry about that and this
poor typing. Hope to be at our 50th. (2002)
November 9th, 2000 - Gus Magistro
(deceased)
thinks Bob may have worked at Picatinny Arsenal with him at one
time. |
